We are a bi-ritual fraternity dedicated to the profound spiritual treasures of the
Russian Greek Catholic Church and the Latin Church.
Rooted in the ancient eremitic spirit of the Desert Fathers and the fiery zeal of the Prophet Elijah on Mount Carmel, our bi-ritual fraternity seeks a return to the humility and poverty of the Gospel. We honor Christ through the rich, vibrant traditions of the Byzantine East—expressed in Russian Catholic liturgy and iconography—while cultivating the profound interior life and unceasing prayer preserved by the Discalced Carmelites of the Latin Church.
Daily contemplation, meditation on Sacred Scripture, devotion to the Divine Office, and the cultivation of silence before God.
A community bound together by charity, mutual support, sacred friendship, and the pursuit of virtue.
Formation through theology, Church history, the writings of the Carmelite saints, and classical Christian spirituality.
Bringing the fruits of contemplation into the world through witness, hospitality, and works of mercy.
Beneath silent stone cloisters and before glowing gold-leaf icons, generations of contemplatives have sought the face of God. Our legacy weaves together the candlelit chapels of the Carmelite West with the incense-filled sanctuaries of the Byzantine East. It is a shared heritage of disciplined prayer, mystical theology, steadfast devotion to the Holy Mother of God—both as Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the Theotokos—and unwavering fidelity to the universal Catholic faith.
In our own age, the same invitation remains: to withdraw from noise, seek the interior castle, and discover the peace found only in Christ.
